Layoffs in the future for Postal Employees?

OPINION

Here is a link to a very discomforting article: Layoffs in the future for Postal Employees? [click here for more] Now that is scary news. If the Postmaster of this great country is forecasting this kind of "doom and gloom" and pointing the finger at the American Postal Worker and their wages and benefits, as opposed to the outrageous mailing industry discounts afforded huge "junk mailers", well I guess we are all in trouble. It appears the blue collar worker is not the one that should take the hit, but maybe Postmaster Potter should be pushed off his post with NO GOLDEN PARACHUTE, as it appears he has taken plenty for himself already. When will the American Taxpayer get a bailout instead of big business and those raping the taxpayer? How does an individual running a failing organization rate such high pay while the working class continue to provide the same great mail service through dedicated work ethic. It appears the postal unions are begging to reduce costs and be able to reap a small benefit in income in return, but that would hurt the big mailers, huh? It's definitely time for change, but the USPS is taking a wrong turn.
